Complete Kitchen Overhaul Allows for an Open, Clean Appeal

Enter: a complete kitchen overhaul. After demoing two walls that were blocking the kitchen–one blocking the mudroom entry and the other blocking the dining area from the kitchen–the entire first floor was opened up, allowing for a much cleaner appeal. The solid oak hardwood flooring was refinished to a light chestnut, eliminating the faded and orange-colored wood. The cabinets are from the Carlton Collection by Crystal Cabinets–the uppers being the Mullion style with frosted glass, while the island features the Breckenridge Collection which offers an amazing accent to this kitchen. The island features a cherry wood butcher block countertop; the counter on the perimeter of the kitchen is a low-profile marble. The backsplash is a dark, earth-tone glass with marble accents. The main kitchen sink is a farm-style from the Whitehaven Collection by Kohler®. All appliances are made by Viking Appliances; all windows are Andersen® Custom Line. The ceiling above the dining table features custom coffered woodwork.

Chris I couldn’t speak more highly of. He did many remodel projects around our cabin and am planning on having him back to do more.
